Responsibilities Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using tax preparation software and financial software tools such as QuickBooks and Sage. Assist clients in gathering necessary financial documents and explain relevant tax concepts clearly and professionally. Conduct analysis of financial data to identify deductions, credits, and potential areas for tax savings. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes affecting individual and business filings. Communicate effectively with clients to clarify their financial information and provide guidance on tax-related questions. Support marketing efforts by participating in client acquisition activities and promoting our services through various channels. Qualifications Prior experience in accounting, public accounting, or finance is highly preferred, especially with tax preparation or bookkeeping roles. Strong understanding of tax law, tax compliance, and partnership or corporate tax expertise. Proficiency with tax preparation software, accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage, and financial reporting tools. Excellent math skills along with analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Basic typing skills (10 key) combined with technical accounting knowledge to prepare accurate reports swiftly.
