| Decatur, IL | Seasonal (January-April) Busy local CPA firm seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer for the upcoming tax season.

Responsibilities:

Prepare individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120-S) Review client tax documents and organizers Enter and verify data in Drake Tax Software Communicate with staff regarding missing information and tax issues Assist with meeting filing deadlines during peak season

Qualifications:

3+ years of tax preparation experience Strong knowledge of federal and Illinois tax laws Drake Tax experience preferred CPA, EA, or public accounting experience a plus

Schedule:

Flexible part-time or full-time hours available January through April 15.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Retired CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and former tax preparers are encouraged to apply.
