Annual Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Tax Preparer with strong 1040, 1120S, 1041, and 1065 preparation experience, excellent client communication skills, and strong attention to detail. About the Job The client base is predominantly small business and high net worth individuals, with a focus on high levels of service, strategy, and client interaction. You must be comfortable working with clients. Tax work will be predominantly 1040s, but will also include 1120S, 1041, and 1065. Candidates should be confident with each type of tax preparation and rules.

Responsibilities:

Prepare 1040, 1120S, 1041, and 1065 tax returns. Work directly with clients. Conduct tax research. Draft taxing authority notice responses. Work independently. Manage time effectively. Utilize tax software and common office applications.

Qualifications:

Experienced professional tax preparer. Confident with 1040, 1120S, 1041, and 1065 tax preparation and rules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail. Strong work ethic. Knowledge of tax software. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. QuickBooks experience is a plus.
