Utilizes departmental systems and software to review tax returns prepared by junior staff using CCH Axcess.
Ensures completeness and accuracy of tax returns by referring to prior year tax documents.
Follows all federal, state and local tax laws and perform research when necessary.
Escalates complex tax issues to manager for counsel when appropriate.
Utilizes practice management software for workflow and client billing.
Provides guidance and training to tax preparers on new and/or complicated tax topics.
Attends department meetings through Microsoft Teams.\nPosition Requirements\nWhat we are looking for:\n

At least 3 to 5 years' of relevant work experience within a CPA firm or tax preparation company\n
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office\n

Ability to attend training the 4th week of January 2027.\n

Seasonal Tax Reviewer - 2027 Tax Season
