Starting rate based on $26/hr. Compensation is commensurate with experience. About the Role Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN tax advisory firm is seeking an experienced seasonal Hybrid-Remote/Full-Remote Tax Preparer to join our team during tax season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual and small business tax preparation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Gather and analyze financial information from clients. Communicate with clients regarding missing information and tax-related questions. Ensure tax returns are prepared accurately and filed on a timely basis. Stay current with tax law changes and compliance requirements. Maintain confidentiality of client information and financial records. Work efficiently while meeting seasonal deadlines. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional tax preparation experience. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with tax planning and problem resolution is preferred. Experience with Drake Tax Software is strongly preferred.
