Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Tax Preparer and play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely tax services to our diverse clientele. As a Seasonal Tax Preparer, you will assist clients with individual and corporate tax return preparation, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations while providing exceptional support throughout the tax season. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help clients navigate complex financial documents confidently and efficiently. Duties Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using advanced tax preparation software. Ensure all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with federal, state, and local tax laws. Analyze financial data and concepts to optimize tax reporting and identify potential deductions or credits. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information, explain tax strategies, and answer questions. Stay updated on changes in tax law and regulations affecting individual and business filings. Provide excellent customer service to foster long-term relationships. Skills Strong understanding of tax law, compliance requirements, and reporting standards for individuals and businesses. Proficiency in tax preparation software, accounting software (QuickBooks, Drake), and financial reporting tools preferred. Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial statements, partnership agreements, and corporate accounting records. Effective client communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly and professionally. Experience with public accounting practices or corporate accounting is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Enrolled Agent licensing preferred. Tax preparation experience required.
