We are a small accounting firm located in Staunton. We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented individual to join our team in a part‑time role supporting our bookkeeping and payroll departments. This position offers flexible hours throughout the year, with additional hours available during tax season. Year-Round Responsibilities:

Enter and maintain financial records Assist with payroll processing Reconcile accounts and support daily bookkeeping tasks Maintain organized and confidential documentation

Tax Season Responsibilities:

Prepare and process 1099s Organize, scan, and categorize tax documents Provide general administrative support to the tax preparation team

Requirements:

Prior QuickBooks experience (required) Previous bookkeeping and payroll experience (required) Strong accuracy and organizational skills Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information Competitive pay based on experience.
