8am-5pm Monday-Friday SUMMARY The Loan Processor will be responsible for working with customers and dealerships, processing customer transactions and answering incoming calls from auto and thrift customers and answering their questions or directing them to the appropriate department. The Branch Loan Processor will always be required to act professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required. Loan processing experience preferred. Training will take place.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Loan Processor is responsible for: 1. Handling phone calls from Customers as well as dealerships. 2. Process loans. 3. Mail out notices or statements. 4. Answer incoming calls from auto loan customers and resolve any customer's questions or direct them to the appropriate individual for assistance. 5. Contact new loan customers to verify the terms and conditions of the auto loan contract received from the dealerships. 6. Reviewing loan documents for missing or incorrect information. 7. Contact the dealership/customer for missing information to process and fund the new loan. 8. Ensure accuracy on daily duties assigned. 9. Research and respond to email requests from internal and external customers. 10. Demonstrate a good understanding of and adherence to all applicable compliance regulations related to specific duties assigned. 11. Follow Balboa Thrift and Loan Policies and Procedures. 12. Perform other job duties assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and sit for long periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
