Processing Transactions Accept cash and check deposits Pay out cash for withdrawals Cash checks after verifying funds and signatures Process loan or utility payments Issue money orders or cashier's checks Cash Management and Security Count and balance cash drawers at start and end of shifts Investigate and report cash discrepancies Detect counterfeit bills Follow bank security and fraud prevention protocols Customer Service and Sales Answer basic account balance and history questions Recommend banking products like savings accounts or credit cards Refer customers to specialized staff for loans or investments Maintain customer confidentiality
