Full Time Job Description Summary:
Provide efficient, accurate, and friendly service to customers. Work independently, as well as working together as a team. Tellers perform a variety of duties in processing banking transactions for both individual and business customers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Process multiple transaction types such as accepting checks for cash and deposit; verifying cash received & given out and the proper endorsement of checks; accepting savings and checking deposits; savings withdrawals and issuing cashier checks. Maintain proper cash levels in drawers and keep cash secure. Responsible for daily balancing of cash drawer and handling over/short account per policy. Responsible for balancing and maintaining the ATM. Be knowledgeable and promote FMB's services to customers. Ensure safe and sound banking practices, including adherence to all bank compliance, security and operational procedures and policies. Assist in opening and closing the branch, following all safety procedures. Maintain customer confidentiality. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Close attention to detail and good organizational and analytical skills Ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner. Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as, computer, adding machine, and copiers. Working Conditions Able to stand for extensive periods of time. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Frequent talking and listening and constant judgment and concentration. May be required to work in another branch on occasion. Hours Available Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:15 pm; Rotating Saturdays 7:30 am to 12:15 pm for approximately 40 hours total per work week. Flexibility to changes as needed with scheduling. Salary Description17.50
