Role Description This is a on-call/part-time, on-site Teller role located in Farmville, NC. Not limited to this site only, there is a chnace you will float between the other five branches in Pitt County. The Teller will greet customers, process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine transactions accurately and efficiently. Teller will also listen to customer to identify additional opporunties that will help our customers. The role includes handling cash, balancing a cash drawer, and following established security and compliance procedures. The Teller will answer customer questions, provide information on bank products and services, and refer customers to appropriate team members when needed. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with daily branch operations, maintaining a professional work area, and supporting a positive customer service environment. Qualifications Ability to handle cash accurately, balance a cash drawer, and follow bank security and compliance procedures. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse customers. Basic math, computer, and data entry skills, with comfort using banking systems and digital tools. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow policies, regulations, and quality standards. Ability to work as needed/part-time on-site in Farmville, NC, and other locations including adherence to scheduled hours and branch needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; previous cash-handling or banking experience is preferred. Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and maintaining customer trust.
