We are looking for a full-time credit union teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the "frontline" of our credit union and will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction. The position will float between two of our offices, West Mifflin (6010 Mountain View Dr) and Wilmerding (201 Airbrake Ave). Responsibilities Conduct routine credit union transactions (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc) Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks Assess customer needs and introduce new products and services Go the "extra mile" to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction Comply with regulatory requirements Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses Resolve customers' issues and provide relevant information Skills Proven working experience in the financial service industry Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash drawers, scanners and money counters) Strong communication and time management skills Customer satisfaction-oriented Attention to detail and mathematical skills Safe work environment Flexible working hours On-the-job training Growth opportunities United Community Federal Credit Union is a full service financial institution that provides business and consumer financing. We are looking for a Teller to provide exceptional customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be able to, among other things, resolve any customer questions or complaints and follow up with any additional information needed to ensure the customer is satisfied with our services. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to our customers. Answer incoming calls and walk-ins about our services. Provide information about our products and services to new and existing customers. Monitor cash drawers to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Communicate with customers in a professional manner about their account status, any past due payments, or any other issues that may arise. Maintain security on all company computers and other equipment.
