Summary:

Process deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and other transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures; must be continuously aware of fraud loss and check cashing guidelines as well as all security and transaction documentation requirements. Also responsible for the security of assigned cash which must be maintained and balanced within established guidelines. Processing all new account transactions; assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services; and performing branch clerical duties. Provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service functions, representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers/prospects in the lobby, drive-thru and on the phone
• Process transactions within established policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence
• Compliance with all banking regulations
• Balance cash drawer at end of day and verify cash totals
• Accept loan payments and process advances/transfers
• Sort daily work for processing
• Ability to cross train in other job functions
• All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

• At least a High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
• At least six months of work experience
• Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers
• Ability to operate on-line teller terminal and other standard office equipment such as a computer and adding machine.
• Successful completion of teller training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the operations manager.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred Equipment Used Computer

• Multi-line Phone System Physical Demands While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear.
