Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, cashier's checks, money orders, and other routine banking transactions while balancing a cash drawer daily. This role also assists with customer inquiries, follows all bank policies and regulatory requirements, and identifies opportunities to refer customers to additional bank products and services. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, is dependable, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, cashier's checks, money orders, and other routine banking transactions Handle cash transactions while verifying identification, endorsements, negotiable instruments, and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures Detect counterfeit currency, fraudulent checks, and suspicious activity, escalating concerns as appropriate Balance and reconcile the cash drawer and daily transactions with a high degree of accuracy Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to customers in person and over the phone while resolving routine account inquiries Educate customers on self-service banking technologies and identify opportunities to refer appropriate Bank products and services Maintain customer confidentiality and protect sensitive information in accordance with privacy policies and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records, process transaction documentation, and handle mail and night depository transactions Support overall branch operations by collaborating with team members, and completing required training Complete end-of-day branch balancing and repair processes to ensure daily transactions are accurately reconciled Assist customers with outgoing wire transfer requests, stop payment requests, change of address requests, and other account servicing needs in accordance with Bank policies and procedure. Requirements 1+ years of cash handling and customer service experience preferred Strong mathematical aptitude with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Microsoft Office proficiency, with the aptitude to learn new programs
