Responsibilities: Direct the organization's accounting function, ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and aligned with established reporting standards. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, delivering timely analysis to support leadership decisions. Lead annual budgeting efforts and monitor performance against financial plans, highlighting variances and recommending corrective action. Manage audit readiness and coordinate with internal and external auditors to support efficient and well-documented review processes. Apply GAAP principles across financial activities and maintain compliance with relevant accounting policies and controls. Supervise general ledger activity, reconciliations, and period-end close processes to promote consistency and accuracy. Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to provide financial guidance, planning support, and performance insight. Utilize NetSuite to manage reporting, improve financial visibility, and support efficient accounting workflows. At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership responsibility in a controller or comparable role. Strong background in auditing, financial reporting, and budget management within complex business environments. Demonstrated expertise in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements. In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting and its practical application in day-to-day financial operations. Hands-on experience working with NetSuite or a similar enterprise financial system. Prior public accounting experience is strongly preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential required. Proven ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and communicate financial information clearly to business leaders.
