Jo b Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to oversee financial operations for our manufacturing business. The successful candidate will guide financial strategy, ensure fiscal discipline, and provide crucial financial insights to drive profitability and sustainable growth. Job Location This position is hybrid and this person needs to live close to one of our manufacturing plants in the Northeast. Preferred locations are Easton, PA, Rehoboth, MA and Richmond, VA.

Job Responsibilities Financial planning:

Provide support for annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. Serve as a strategic partner to the management leadership team.

Financial reporting and analysis:

Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

accounting standards. Provide insightful analysis of financial and operational performance through KPIs and dashboards.

Cost accounting and inventory:

Manage all cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost allocations across multiple manufacturing sites. Oversee inventory accounting processes, valuation, and reconciliation.

Operational finance partnership:

Work closely with operations, supply chain, and other department heads to align budgets with operational execution and drive efficiency.

ERP systems and process improvement:

Serve as the Regional finance lead for ERP system enhancements and optimization, especially for manufacturing and finance modules. Champion automation to improve finance processes.

Risk management and compliance:

Implement and manage internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations and manage relationships with internal and external auditors.

Capital expenditures and investment:

Evaluate and provide financial analysis for capital expenditures, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other strategic business investments.

Team leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the Regional finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
