We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting system through monthly financial statements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in any of the following industries, Automotive, Recreational Motor Homes, Motorcycles , Boat Dealerships or Real Estate. However, this is not required and we will train the right candidate

Job Responsibilities :

Monthly Financial Reporting
Assist with annual year end closings
Budgeting and Forecasting
Prepare and file monthly NYS Sales Tax reports
Assist with establishing Internal Controls, Processes and Procedures
Create / Maintain Procedure Manual and forms
Compile, reconcile, process and pay vendor invoices
Review and monitor accounts receivable
Print and distribute accounts receivable statements
Check the accuracy, calculations and postings of support staff
Verify, audit and replenish Petty Cash checking accounts
Assist junior level staff with accounting and computer issues
Some limited local travel may be required

Skills :

PC proficient with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi task
