ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Grube, Inc. is a franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings and Marcos Pizza. We currently have 107 Buffalo Wild Wings locations, 15 Marcos Pizza locations and 1 Par Golf store. We have a very aggressive growth plan over the next several years. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Accounting team! You will be responsible for providing key accounting support to the CFO and Controller. This includes preparing accurate internal financial statements, budgets, forecasts, preparing work papers that support information provided to the executive team and shareholders, and analyzing financial statements for areas of opportunity and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Accounting Tasks:

Reconciling accounts, managing internal financials, and assisting with budgeting and cash flows.

Software Expertise:

Learning and managing the company's specific accounting software which includes Netsuite, Docuware, Corpay, PropertyWorks, Concur and CTUIT.

Financial Analysis:

Contributing to audit preparation, analyzing financials for efficiency improvements, and supporting profitability initiatives.

Operational Duties:

Managing lease obligations, fixed assets, and bank covenants. Assisting with external audits and tax related matters.

Excellent/Effective written and verbal skills, strong organization with a keen eye for detail

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and solve problems with critical thinking.

Teamwork:

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree 3-5 years experience (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to work full-time with limited travel.
