Job Description

SENIOR CATERING BUSINESS FINANCE DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with a strong concentration in non-profit or governmental accounting finance and prefer five years' experience in budgeting, cost analysis and accounting activities. Sage 50 experience preferred.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the over-all maintenance of the company's fiscal records Responsible for the maintenance of the company's general ledger, journals, and supporting documentation. Responsible for internal controls and accounting functions, including the maintenance of appropriate book of accounts and other financial records; the preparation, monitoring and analysis of financial statements and the development of appropriate administrative manuals. Responsible for managing accounts payable, including payment of bills, check preparation, check register and fiscal invoice transactions. Responsible for managing payroll, all payroll related records, and employee benefits. Responsible for managing accounts receivable, including monthly billing. Responsible for reporting to Executive Director cash flow, budget variations, and problems. Responsible for reconciliation of bank accounts. Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual required tax returns, including corporate income tax. Responsible for annual preparation, development and monitoring of budgets for each kitchen and the overall agency. Responsible for preparing for the annual audit. Prepares and sends the independent auditor the Trial Balance by mid-August of each year. Ensures compliance with financial institutions procedures such as banks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, calculators, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines daily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to verbally communicate with others. Use of hands, fingers and arms is required to operate the computer keyboard, calculator, copier and fax machine. The ability to write legibly is also required.
