Ready to put your attention to detail to work in a role that matters? Old Republic Risk Management is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join our Brookfield team. The Underwriting Assistant evaluates underwriting information received, issues policies and endorsements, and ensures regulatory compliance. In this attractive position you will see first-hand how your eye for detail makes a difference in the accounts that are managed for the company. What You'll Do Review and analyze underwriting information to determine requested coverages and resolve discrepancies. Issue policies and endorsements on time, ensuring accurate state-specific forms and compliance. Collect and verify documentation for proof of insurance, financial responsibility, and motor carrier filings. Collaborate with clients, brokers, and regulators to resolve Workers' Compensation compliance Issues. Manage internal and external information requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Provide tax location data to the Statistical department in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley timelines. Calculate and process audit endorsements in line with company service standards. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of office, administrative, or insurance-related experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Clear communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks Enthusiasm for learning and making an impact
