Job Overview Align Alabama Health & Wellness is seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position that supports our doctors and clinical staff by assisting patients with prescribed therapy services while helping maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the clinic. Previous chiropractic or medical experience is a plus, but not required. We provide paid, on-the-job training for all therapy procedures and clinic protocols. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients throughout their therapy visits. Prepare patients for prescribed therapy services. Apply Jeanie Rub therapy according to clinic protocols. Set up patients for prescribed therapies, including e-stim and ultrasound. Monitor patients during therapy and report any concerns to the treating doctor or clinical staff. Clean, disinfect, and prepare treatment rooms and therapy equipment between patients. Maintain therapy equipment and supplies. Help keep the clinic organized, clean, and running efficiently. Follow all patient privacy, safety, and infection control procedures. Assist with other therapy-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Friendly, positive, and professional attitude. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable working directly with patients in a hands-on environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform light lifting throughout the workday. Ability to work well as part of a team.
