Part-Time Sunday Afternoon Position — Novato Community Acupuncture of Marin is looking for a licensed acupuncturist to join our established community acupuncture practice for a part-time Sunday afternoon shift . This is a small, independent position that may be especially well suited to an acupuncturist who has a private practice, works elsewhere during the week, or simply wants to add a regular part-time shift to their schedule. New graduates are welcome to apply. Experience is appreciated, but the right personality, professionalism, and enthusiasm for patient care are more important to us than years in practice.
THE POSITION
The initial schedule will consist of a three-hour Sunday afternoon shift in our Novato clinic. The shift will begin modestly as we develop our Sunday patient schedule, with the potential for additional hours and substitute coverage in the future. Our clinic is fully established, with treatment space, patients, scheduling, supplies, marketing, and administrative systems already in place. You can simply come in and focus on treating patients.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who: Holds a current California acupuncture license Is warm, dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently Genuinely enjoys working with and caring for patients Is comfortable treating several patients within a community acupuncture setting Communicates well and works cooperatively as part of a small practice Is interested in developing a long-term relationship with an established clinic No previous clinical experience is required. We are happy to consider a newly licensed acupuncturist who is responsible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Having your own private practice or other employment is also welcome. We understand that many acupuncturists combine several part-time professional roles.
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
Compensation is commission-based , with minimum compensation guaranteed in accordance with California law. The position includes an introductory period with scheduled performance and compensation reviews and opportunities for increased commission as the practitioner becomes established within the clinic. For the right person, there may also be opportunities for additional weekday shifts and substitute coverage as our working relationship develops. Our goal is not simply to fill a shift. We hope to find someone who enjoys being part of the practice and can become a trusted, long-term member of our team.
