Job Description

Job Overview This is a Part-time (with option for Full-time), on-site Acupuncturist role based in Northville-Livonia Mi area. Our offices have a tremendous need to add a talented acupuncturist to our team to improve the selection of quality care we can provide to our patients and the community. This position has the potential to be very rewareding for someone who is focused and driven. The Acupuncturist will conduct comprehensive patient consultations, review health histories, and develop individualized treatment plans using acupuncture and related modalities. Daily responsibilities include performing acupuncture treatments, monitoring patient responses, and documenting all care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role also involves educating patients on treatment options, wellness strategies, and preventive care, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. The Acupuncturist will maintain clean, organized treatment areas, adhere to safety and infection control procedures, and participate in practice development activities such as patient follow-up and occasional community outreach. Duties Strong foundation in Medicine and Oriental Medicine, with the ability to integrate traditional and complementary approaches to patient care. Proficiency in Acupuncture techniques, including patient assessment, point selection, and treatment planning tailored to individual needs. Experience and ability to co-manage care with complementary modalities and practitioners such as Focused Shockwave, Emtt Therapy, Class 4 laser, Spinal decompression, Cupping, Massage Therapy, and Chiropractic Care. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Acupuncturist in the state of Michigan, in good standing. Be an In network provider or become an in network provider of major health insurance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and explain treatment plans clearly to diverse patients. Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, patient confidentiality, and ongoing professional development. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as an Acupuncturist in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in pain management, especially with acute pain cases and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physical examination techniques. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems for documentation and patient tracking. Skilled in acupuncture techniques, herbal medicine application, and aseptic procedures to ensure safe practice. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Prior experience with pain medicine or pain management is highly desirable.
Pay:
$75.00 - $130.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
