This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative environment, supporting practitioners in providing effective treatments and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will foster a positive atmosphere, uphold high standards of hygiene and safety, and facilitate seamless patient flow. Duties Manage the scheduling and utilization of the treatment room to maximize efficiency for multiple practitioners. Ensure the treatment environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Assist practitioners with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring proper documentation. Support patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and updating electronic health records (EHR/EMR). Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress notes, and care plans following evidence-based practices. Facilitate effective communication between practitioners and patients to enhance the overall care experience. Monitor patient observations during treatments, noting any changes or concerns related to acute pain or other symptoms. Skills Strong knowledge of the musculoskeletal system, anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics relevant to physical assessments and diagnoses. Experience with patient observation, physical examinations, and assessments to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Proficiency in healthcare diagnosis, pain management techniques, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and physical rehabilitation strategies. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and client communication tools for effective interaction. Ability to assist with medical imaging interpretation or referrals as needed for comprehensive client care. Excellent understanding of medical terminology, client communication skills, and client-centered care approaches. Knowledge of evidence-based practice principles to ensure safe and effective patient treatments across various specialties.
