Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Acupuncturist, where you will play a vital role in delivering holistic, patient-centered care. In this position, you will utilize your expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, and herbal medicine techniques to help patients manage pain, improve overall wellness, and recover from various conditions. Your energetic approach and commitment to patient service will contribute to creating a positive healing environment. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through direct care and innovative treatment methods. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture and herbal treatment plans Perform acupuncture procedures targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and other musculoskeletal conditions Utilize herbal medicine techniques alongside acupuncture to enhance healing outcomes Apply aseptic techniques meticulously to ensure safe and hygienic treatment environments Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists to coordinate patient care strategies Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems accurately for documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient histories Educate patients on treatment plans, self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness Stay current with medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and pain management practices to provide informed and effective care Skills Proven experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice Skilled in patient assessment techniques and physical examinations for accurate diagnosis Proficient in EMR/EHR management for seamless documentation and record keeping Expertise in herbal medicine techniques used alongside acupuncture treatments Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure patients effectively Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams while providing direct patient care with professionalism and compassion Join us in delivering exceptional holistic healthcare that empowers patients on their journey toward better health! At this location you will be hired as an independent contractor. This means you set your own prices and hours! You are responsible for all supplies, equipment and furniture needed for your role. We will provide the space for you in exchange for a percentage of collections. This amount is up for negotiation. I have an open room so if you are thinking about it, now is the time!
