Connections Child & Family Center is a specialty group practice serving children, teens, and families across the north Houston area. Our deepest demand right now is young children — and we will not refer them to clinicians who do talk therapy at a kid-sized table and call it play therapy. If you already have the credential and the training, we have referrals you don't have to market for and a playroom you don't have to build. The arrangement This is an independent contractor engagement, not employment. You run your own practice; we provide the infrastructure and the referral stream.

What we provide:

65-70% of collected revenue — substantially above what a clinician keeps as an employee. Across our contracted payers, a standard 90837 with interactive complexity runs roughly $66-$97 per session to you, depending on payer. A furnished playroom in The Woodlands / Spring, available during our clinic hours A steady stream of child referrals. Pediatricians in this area know us for child work. Billing and credentialing support, scheduling infrastructure, and EHR access Optional case consultation with our child and family team, if you want it What you bring: Your own Texas license and RPT credential, maintained at your expense Your own professional liability coverage Your own continuing education and training decisions Your own determination of caseload size, session length, clinical approach, and hours What we don't do: set your schedule, require meeting attendance, assign productivity targets, or direct your clinical methods. You decide how you practice. Who this fits This works best for a clinician who is already established and wants volume without the cost of running a practice — someone who has the credential, knows how they work, and is looking for back office support and a room rather than a job. You LPC, LMFT, or LCSW independently licensed in Texas (associate-level clinicians are not a fit for this engagement) Registered Play Therapist (RPT) or substantial, documented play therapy training Established professional liability coverage and an active NPI Availability during after-school, evening, or weekend hours — that's when the referrals are. Compensation:

65-70% of collected revenue — approximately $66.00-$97.00 per session , based on contracted rates across our payer panel for a 60-minute play therapy session. Actual earnings track collections and will vary with payer mix, deductibles, and caseload volume.
