Job Description

Under the supervision and direction of the anesthesiologist(s), and/or CRNA, this position assists and supports the anesthesiologist(s) by performing a variety of duties related to the administration of anesthesia and the associated clerical tasks of the Anesthesia Department. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of patients for anesthesia, preparing special needs for the patient who is being readied for anesthesia in the OR, and assisting in the preparation of medication supplies. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of basic Surgical Tech. course or Anesthesia Tech training (OJT) required. One year experience as Surgical Technologist or Anesthesia Tech preferred. Must have BLS and NH Medical Technician Registry.
