Job Description

Are you ready to be part of a highly skilled, tight-knit team that plays a vital role in saving lives every day? UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Anesthesia Associate to support our world-class anesthesia providers and deliver exceptional care to patients during critical moments.
What You'll Do:
+ Work varied shifts - weekday and weekend evenings and nights - supporting patient care 24/7. + Assist in Trauma and Transplant procedures, including: + Rapid blood infusion + Difficult airway assistance + Cell salvage and jet ventilation + Swan Ganz catheter and liver transplant bypass cannula assistance + Support anesthesia providers across all procedure areas:
OR, MRI, GI
Lab, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR suites. + Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for anesthesia procedures to ensure smooth and safe patient flow. + Troubleshoot critical equipment such as Anesthesia gas machines, GE B850 patient monitoring, Edwards CCO monitoring, and TEE/Ultrasound systems. + Maintain stock levels and organize surgical suites for quick turnaround between cases. + Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and supplies.
