PT Pittsfield, MA Apply Job Type:
Hybrid (In-Person & Remote Within Massachusetts) This position requires applicants to reside in Massachusetts in order to provide services to our clients. In-person sessions are conducted at our Pittsfield, MA office, with additional sessions delivered remotely to clients located throughout the state.
Hours:
Minimum of 20-24 billable hours per work week, plus 4 paid admin hours and 1 paid supervision hour.
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and Licensed Outpatient Clinician to join our esteemed group practice. This clinician will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services on a fee-for service basis, working with a diverse client demographic that includes children, adults, and elders. The role involves a variety of therapeutic formats such as individual, group, family, and couples therapy, delivered both in-person and via telehealth platforms in compliance with Massachusetts telehealth guidelines. This position is a W2 position.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide a range of trauma-informed and culturally supportive therapeutic services, including individual, group, family, and couples therapy.
  • Establish strong, confidential relationships with clients, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
  • Serve a diverse clientele, addressing the needs of children, adults, and elders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, accurately diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20-24 billable hours per work week.
  • Employ evidence-based treatment models to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Accurately and promptly document all clinical work using EHR Documentation Systems.
  • Submit all documentation within 48 hours.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals for collaborative trauma informedcare
  • Perform on-site clinical counseling services for patients of Berkshire Heart and Mind Therapy, as scheduled and in accordance with company hybrid telehealth policies.
  • Obtain and Maintain a master-level clinical license and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and professional ethical standards governing services provided through Berkshire Heart & Mind Therapy.
  • Respond to patient\'s requests for service or calls within 1-2 business days, whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
  • Communicate with a patient\'s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
  • Timely complete written records for each patient, including but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by Berkshire Heart and Mind Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week).
  • Keep patient files accurate and up-to-date, and complete clinical updates, CANS assessment updates, and updated treatment plans every 90 days with clients and/or guardians.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training directed by Berkshire Heart and Mind Therapy.
  • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner to maintain and enhance the goodwill and reputation of Berkshire Heart and Mind Therapy.
Qualifications:
  • Master\'s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work.
  • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC) in the State of Massachusetts (must be fully licensed). A copy of the license must be provided to [practice name]. At least three year\'s experience following unrestricted licensure preferred.
  • Specialization in at least one niche market for counseling services (e.g., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger mangaement, etc.). Active Filters Out-Patient Therapist
