Certified Athletic Trainer: San Clemente Wellness Center

Job Description

We are looking for someone who combines strong clinical knowledge with an exceptional ability to connect with people. We are looking for an ATC who is passionate about exercise, prevention, healthy aging, and helping people build sustainable habits - not just treating injuries. Experience working with older adults and community-based populations is especially valuable, along with the ability to make people of all fitness levels feel comfortable, confident, and supported. Above all, we are looking for someone who is curious, personable, eager to learn, and excited to become a trusted part of the community.
Required:
Completion of Personal Training Certificate (NCCA Accreditation) required. Certificated in CPR and first aid. Previous experience as a personal trainer or relevant role in high-end setting. Available to work flexible hours.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or better. Knowledge of medical terminology and functional anatomy preferred. Three years' experience in sports medicine environment (team healthcare or similar). Certifications Required ATC Certification through NATABOC required.
BLS - AHA
Basic Life required Certifications Preferred Must have fulfilled all requirements of the NATA Board of Certification exam and state licensure or regulation (as determined by the state). Must provide proof of current Certification through NATABOC and be in good standing. Must provide proof of current CPR/AED Certification. Must provide proof of current private malpractice insurance.
