Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine Education:
Graduate of an accredited four-year athletic trainer curriculum with a bachelor's degree. ATC must maintain NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) and CPR certifications, and a State of CT license. ATC must also maintain CEU's (Continued Education Units) as established by NATA. Some medical experience is preferred but not required. ATC position requires strong time-management, organizational and communication skills, as well as patient confidentiality.
