In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert care and rehabilitation services to athletes across various sports disciplines. Your expertise in sports medicine, physiology, and injury management will help optimize athlete performance while ensuring their safety and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, energetic environment committed to excellence in sports health. Duties Assess athletes' physical condition through detailed evaluations of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology knowledge to identify injuries or risk factors. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for musculoskeletal injuries using sports rehabilitation therapy techniques. Provide immediate emergency care, including first aid and CPR, during sporting events or training sessions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, physical therapists, and nutritionists to coordinate comprehensive athlete care. Educate athletes on injury prevention protocols, proper body mechanics, nutrition, and overall health coaching strategies. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions using EMR/EHR systems while ensuring strict confidentiality of athlete information. Conduct ongoing assessments of athlete progress and adjust treatment or training programs accordingly to enhance recovery and performance. Qualifications Certification as a Licensed or Certified Athletic Trainer through an accredited organization is required. Strong knowledge of sports medicine principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Proven experience working with athletes in a sports or clinical setting, including treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Proficiency in emergency care procedures such as first aid and basic life support (BLS). Excellent communication skills for client education, team collaboration, and athlete engagement. Ability to perform under pressure during high-stakes sporting events or urgent situations. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
