Athletic Trainer- Injury Prevention Clinician

Job Description

ONSITE provides Wellness, Prevention, and Treatment services at company locations. We are looking for an Injury Prevention Clinician that self motivated, independent, confident and flexible that is a Licensed Athletic Trainer. Initial Training will be provided locally and ongoing supervision and training will occur locally. Experience in work related injuries and/or ergonomics is ideal, but not required. This position is for 12-20 hours per week with potential growth to full time hours as company continues to grow in the area.
Schedule:
To cover multiple shifts are our client companies, an ideal schedule might look like:: Monday 1pm-4pm, Tuesday 6:30am-10am, Wednesday 1pm-4pm, Thursday 6:30am-10am. This is just an example and actual schedule may be different. Also, the schedule might flex as needs arise on a particular shift or growth occurs.

General Job Duties:
Assess employee musculoskeletal symptoms and or injuries Provide early intervention musculoskeletal wellness and injury prevention services Operate within OSHA First Aid Guidelines to address early signs and symptoms of work incidents Work with company occupational health managers, supervisors and employees on ergonomic improvements and risk mitigation strategies Perform employment hiring basic screening
Requirements:
Degree in Athletic Training Licensed/certified to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts Basic understanding of industrial rehabilitation, return to work, and ergonomic safe work concepts Knowledge or willingness to learn OSHA first aid techniques (e.g., massage, kinesiotape application, use of soft supports, edema control, use of heat/ice) Willingness to learn basic ergonomic assessment and recommendation principles Willingness to learn employment hiring basic screening Proficiency with Microsoft Office technology or willingness to learn Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work with all organizational levels Flexibility and attention to detail Essential Functions Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time Minimal noise level in the work environment
