Athletic Trainer - Strongsville Middle School Make an Impact Through Sports Medicine Are you passionate about helping student-athletes stay healthy, recover from injuries, and perform at their best? Join our team as an Athletic Trainer at Strongsville Middle School , where you'll play an important role in supporting young athletes in a rewarding school-based environment. This position is ideal for someone seeking a flexible, part-time schedule with a great work-life balance—including summers off , no weekends , and the opportunity for additional hours when available. Position Summary The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing high-quality patient and athlete care while delivering exceptional customer service. Working within the scope of your licensure, you'll provide direct athletic training services in the middle school setting, assist with injury prevention and rehabilitation, and participate in educational programs that promote athlete health and wellness.
Schedule & Hours Part-time:
10-20 hours per week Flexible schedule with the possibility of additional hours as needed Typical hours are 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM Some later evenings required for athletic game coverage No weekends Summers off What You'll Do Provide athletic training services to student-athletes. Evaluate, treat, and help prevent athletic injuries. Develop and implement rehabilitation programs within your scope of practice. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, coaches, physicians, and school staff. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with professional standards. Participate in community and school education programs related to sports medicine and injury prevention. Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a safe and supportive environment for student-athletes. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience Previous experience is not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Licensure & Certifications Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (NATA/BOC certified, as applicable).
