  • Balance Testing Specialist is a full-time clinical position focused exclusively on vestibular and balance diagnostics.
This role does not include hearing testing. The successful candidate will perform and interpret specialized vestibular tests, as well as may review and interpret testing performed by other technicians. The position requires travel between our Avondale and Phoenix locations and offers a 4-day, 10-hour/day schedule. Tests performed in this role include: VEMP (Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials) EcochG (Electrocochleography) ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response
  • Balance Focus) VNG (Videonystagmography) The ideal individual for this role is committed to excellence in their work, demonstrates strong diagnostic accuracy, and is dedicated to contributing to a high-performing team.
They will have a strong ability to work independently, show compassion and patience with patients, and communicate effectively with both patients and care teams. Responsibilities Perform vestibular and balance testing accurately, documenting all relevant events and observations. Review and interpret test results, including those performed by other technicians. Collaborate with audiologists, neurologists, and other clinical staff to ensure high standards of care. Maintain and calibrate vestibular testing equipment. Participate in training and knowledge sharing within the team. Assist in the implementation of new vestibular technologies (e.g., balance chair). Uphold a professional and compassionate patient experience. Work with leadership to maintain and exceed departmental quality and performance metrics. Requirements Education
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.
D.) Licensure
  • Current Arizona audiology license. Certifications
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification; current tuberculosis test. Experience
  • At least 1 year of vestibular and balance testing experience preferred; proficiency with VEMP, EcochG, ABR, and VNG testing. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent patient engagement skills, strong technical acumen, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, attention to detail, and willingness to adapt in a team-oriented environment.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
