This role involves providing comprehensive clinical audiology services, including hearing assessments and hearing aid programming. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving patients' quality of life through expert hearing care and will bring a compassionate, patient-centered approach to their work. This position offers flexible hours suitable for professionals looking to contribute their expertise on a part-time basis. Duties Conduct detailed clinical audiology assessments to evaluate patients' hearing capabilities and diagnose auditory conditions. Perform hearing assessments using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques to determine the extent of hearing loss or impairment. Program, fit, and adjust hearing aids tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal performance and comfort. Provide counseling and education to patients regarding hearing health, device usage, and maintenance. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with hearing concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices through ongoing professional development. Skills Proven experience in clinical audiology, including conducting hearing assessments and hearing aid programming. Strong knowledge of audiological diagnostic procedures and hearing aid technology. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and compassionately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient records and appointments. Flexibility to accommodate part-time scheduling needs while maintaining high-quality patient care.
