Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnose hearing issues, and deliver personalized hearing solutions to improve our patients' quality of life. Your expertise will help guide patients through their journey from evaluation to hearing aid fitting, ensuring optimal auditory health and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough hearing assessments, including hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations.. Perform hearing aid programming, fitting, and adjustments using advanced patient management software and audiological equipment. Manage patient care through detailed documentation in EMR/EHR systems, ensuring accurate records of assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Educate patients on hearing health, treatment options, and proper device use while maintaining excellent client communication and customer service skills. Lead efforts in patient management by providing exceptional service, guiding clients through their hearing solutions, and supporting sales initiatives when appropriate. Requirements Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient appointments efficiently. Proficiency in conducting hearing assessments, including hearing screenings, and diagnostic evaluations. Have a state license to dispense hearing aids. Skilled in hearing aid programming, fitting, and troubleshooting using modern audiological software tools. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate patient recordkeeping; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and provide clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on client care; experience in sales or product recommendations is a plus. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork within a clinical setting; excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with healthcare professionals. Pay:
