Job Description

Audiology Externship Position 2027-2028 North Shore Audiology Consultants - Highland Park, IL North Shore Audiology Consultants is a well‑established private practice in the Chicagoland area, proudly recognized for delivering comprehensive hearing and balance healthcare grounded in a true medical model . We are seeking a motivated, clinically curious, and patient‑centered Audiology Extern who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute meaningfully within a dynamic private practice setting. About Our Practice North Shore Audiology Consultants provides full‑scope diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologic care for patients of all ages. Externs gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of clinical services, including: Comprehensive audiologic evaluations Vestibular assessments Hearing aid selection, fitting, verification (REM), and follow‑up care Cochlear implant and bone‑anchored device evaluation and management Pediatric and adult diagnostics In‑house hearing aid repairs and electroacoustic analysis Counseling rooted in evidence‑based, medical‑model care Externs also benefit from our close collaboration with a local ENT practice, where we provide on‑call audiologic services —offering exposure to diverse clinical presentations and fast‑paced medical decision‑making.
