Salary Range:
  • $ 76,000
  • 85,000 annually
  • In addition to base salary, this position offers a productivity-based bonus with meaningful earning potential.
  • Compensation within the range will be based on experience, qualifications, clinical expertise, and internal equity.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and other appropriate diagnostic testing, and interpret results in conjunction with the patient's medical history and clinical presentation. Collaborate and communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other clinical and administrative staff to coordinate care, communicate findings and recommendations, facilitate appropriate referrals, and support an efficient, positive patient experience. Provide comprehensive hearing aid services, including evaluation, selection, fitting, programming, verification, dispensing, counseling, follow-up, adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing management. Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, amplification options, realistic expectations, hearing conservation, and other appropriate rehabilitative or preventative measures. Provide audiological services related to cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices, as appropriate to training, competency, and services offered by the Practice. Assist with hearing aid ordering, receiving, tracking, returns, repairs, warranties, inventory, and manufacturer-related coordination. Maintain complete, timely, and accurate clinical documentation and provide information necessary to support coding, billing, reimbursement, prior authorization, medical necessity, and payer requirements. Monitor and maintain audiological testing equipment, hearing aid equipment, supplies, and patient-care areas, including routine troubleshooting and coordination of repair or calibration as needed. Work toward reasonable departmental and Practice goals related to patient access, productivity, hearing aid services, patient satisfaction, quality, and other established performance measures. Participate in continuing education, professional development, meetings, and training necessary to maintain licensure, clinical competency, and knowledge of developments in audiology and hearing healthcare.
