Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program Current state licensure as an Audiologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA is preferred Previous experience working with pediatric populations or within school settings strongly desired Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive audiological assessments for students Interpret assessment results and make recommendations to support student learning and participation Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to discuss findings and strategies Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals related to hearing and auditory skills Provide counseling and resources to students, families, and staff regarding hearing loss, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations Maintain accurate, timely records and support compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions This contract position offers the flexibility to focus your expertise on school-based needs, creating a tangible difference in children's educational journeys.
