This is an ideal, very part-time role for an experienced professional interested exclusively in conducting evaluations. Your specialized skills will make a significant impact in educational settings, providing essential audiological assessments that support students in achieving their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution Valid and current state licensure as an Audiologist
ASHA CCC-A
certification preferred Prior experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school or educational settings Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain accurate, thorough evaluation documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for students as requested by schools Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather relevant student background and assemble necessary records Provide clear, actionable written and verbal reports summarizing assessment outcomes Make professional recommendations for accommodations, support services, or assistive technology as appropriate Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly within established timelines
