Equivalent to graduation from high school and/or any combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skill. An AA degree, or 2 years equivalence of acceptable college coursework, or successful passage of an acceptable rigorous assessment is highly preferred.
Experience with specialized populations with behavior needs
Registered Behavior Technician Certification, or willingness to obtain and maintain registration as Behavior Technician within the 4 months of hire into the position
40 hours Registered Behavior Technician Training desired/Must be currently CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or be willing to complete CPI training upon employment.
Possess a valid California driver's license and maintain insurability
Transport students from time to time as required, in a district vehicle.
Possess or obtain First Aid and CPR certification as required.
