Part-Time RBT - Movement & Engagement Support The Considerate Coach Santa Rosa, CA Job Details Part-time $30 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation RBT Certification Youth fitness Experience working with individuals with autism Sports activities for children Full Job Description Overview We're looking for an energetic, patient, and engaging Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to lead and support a male child through the development of movement-based programs and activities during structured sessions at home. The ideal candidate enjoys being active, can follow the child's cues, and tailor a well-rounded movement program for balance and enthusiasm, with a calm, supportive team approach.
Schedule Mornings:
Ideally 7:00-8:30 a.m.,
Monday-Friday Afternoons:
Approximately 4:30-6:00/6:30 p.m., two to three days per week, depending on needs and availability Some flexibility in scheduling is helpful Responsibilities Develop, lead, and engage the child and group in fun movement-based activities such as jumping, dancing to music, and fitness-style game sessions. Help the child engage and get regulated before school and after returning home. Follow the child's individualized support plan and guidance from the supervising BCBA. Adapt activities to the child's interests and energy level, using a patient and encouraging approach. Communicate observations and progress with the family and supervising team via daily logs. Qualifications Current RBT certification or willingness and eligibility to obtain certification. Experience supporting children with autism or related support needs. A background or strong interest in occupational therapy, physical activity, fitness, or movement-based programming. High energy, patience, flexibility, and strong engagement skills. Ability to work independently while following supervision and the child's support plan.
