Job Description

Description Liberty Behavioral & Community Services, Inc. (LBCSI) is currently seeking a Conduct Specialist to join our team. As a Conduct Specialist, you will work closely with individuals who have behavioral and conduct disorders, providing them with the support, guidance, and interventions they need to improve their social and emotional well-being. You will play a crucial role in developing behavior modification plans, implementing therapeutic strategies, and collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team. Candidates can be experienced or LBCSI will provide training for highly motivated non-experienced staff . Key responsibilities of the Conduct Specialist include:
  • Conducting assessments of client behavior using standardized techniques and observation.
  • Developing and implementing behavior modification plans based on individual goals.
  • Providing direct therapeutic support to individuals with behavioral and conduct disorders.
  • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop effective strategies.
  • Monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Documenting client behavior, interventions, and progress according to agency standards.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working with adults with behavioral disorders. You should have a strong understanding of behavior modification principles and evidence-based interventions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is also important. Preferred qualifications for the Conduct Specialist position include certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and experience working in a community mental health setting. Certification in behavior analysis (BCBA or BCaBA) is also desirable. Requirements Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience working with adults with behavioral disorders.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral and conduct disorders.
  • Knowledge of behavior modification principles and evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in documentation and record keeping.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Live Scan.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred.
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field or 3 to 5 years experience.
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting.
