In this role, you will provide expert behavioral analysis supervision and intervention services to children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your focus will be on developing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and supporting families, therapists and caregivers to promote meaningful progress. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families through evidence-based practices rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies. Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect, analyze, and document data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to facilitate consistent implementation of interventions across settings such as home and school environments. Conduct intake assessments and participate in client communication to ensure comprehensive understanding of each child's needs. Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records, documentation of patient care, and progress reports in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Qualifications Valid BCBA certification with current licensure or certification as required by state regulations. Experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong people skills with the willingness and ability to navigate conversations across a spectrum of experience from caregivers, teachers, therapists and other professionals. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessment techniques, and behavior intervention strategies. Proven ability to perform behavioral health evaluations, conduct diagnostic assessments, and utilize medical terminology effectively. Experience working in diverse settings such as home-based therapy, schools, or clinics with children who have developmental disabilities. Skilled in data collection methods, medical documentation, client communication, and clinical supervision. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management is essential.
