Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, good sense of humor, and collaborative team member to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, the candidate will support increasing skills that better the quality of life for the individuals we serve. This could include goals such as; increasing their social skills, communication, personal independence, leisure activities, replacing maladaptive behaviors with functional alternatives, and so much more. As a small team, we prioritize candidates who work well in team environments as well as the ability to show strong decision making. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments. Promote a supportive environment for participants. Provide behavioral therapy to assist in coping with emotional challenges. Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes. Collect and analyze data related to progress and treatment efficacy. Collaborate with other support professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes. Engage in fun activities that enhance the quality of life of all individuals Requirements A learner's mindset The ability to remain objective and calm in challenging moments Strong skills in behavior management and the willingness to learn how to further develop these skills Ability to take objective session notes and data collection Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Ability to work independently and seek clinical support as needed An effective team player Join our small team! $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
