Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Beacon Services of Connecticut is looking for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join a highly dedicated and collaborative group of multidisciplinary professionals in providing exceptional pediatric services to young children and families. This unique opportunity would be a good fit for a clinician interested in delivering services to recently diagnosed toddlers in the Birth to Three system. Clinicians typically see 4 clients per workday and have the opportunity to learn broader range of skills related to developmental assessment, family coaching, and case management. BCBAs are responsible for the evaluation of children's skills across a variety of developmental domains and use that information to design evidence-based interventions. Our BCBAs also collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, assist families with the transition to school-based services, and supervise and support early intervention staff with ongoing assessment, data collection, and service delivery. Overview of Responsibilities Perform intake visits and evaluations with potential clients Provide ongoing skill assessments Provide family training and coaching Support the development and implementation of individual goals and objectives Support the supervision of BTs/DTAs Oversee the development of written guidelines for behavior interventions, teaching plans, and programs Provide coaching/training to families supporting the generalization of techniques and skills Complete administrative responsibilities in order to meet funder requirements Participate in weekly team meetings Some Important Skills Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Initiative Comfort working with technology

Work Hours:

Full-Time (will also consider part-time), Monday through

Qualifications:

PhD or masters in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field Current BCBA certification or eligible Current Connecticut licensure or eligible Experience or desire to work with young children and families Visit our website at www.beaconct.org to learn more about our organization!
