Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician on a 6-week contract, with the potential for a slight extension. This rewarding position is located near New Castle, DE, and offers a focused, part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. In this role, you'll work closely with two siblings, providing essential support and skill-building to help them thrive academically and socially. Your expertise in behavior analysis and data collection will be crucial in collaborating with district professionals to ensure student progress.
What We're Looking For:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working with school-aged children, especially in special education settings Strong data collection and behavioral intervention skills Positive communication and collaboration abilities with staff and families Professionalism, reliability, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct one-on-one support to a brother and sister, implementing individualized behavior plans Collect and record detailed progress data as required by the district Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other professionals on student progress Utilize evidence-based strategies to encourage positive behavioral changes Help create a supportive, structured learning environment for students
