Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while collaborating with families and other professionals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavioral changes in clients. Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and staff on effective behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis. Qualifications Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
