Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Lake Worth, FL Sunshine Minds Behavior Services is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for a home-based ABA case in Lake Worth, FL 33463 .
This position provides the opportunity to work one-on-one with a child while implementing an individualized treatment plan under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Approved Hours:
25 hours per week Please verify the location, commute, and your morning availability before applying. Consistent availability is essential for continuity of care. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention and treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy. Collect and accurately record data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition. Implement behavior-reduction and skill-acquisition procedures according to the client's treatment plan. Utilize appropriate behavior-management strategies to promote replacement behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Follow BCBA guidance and clinical protocols consistently. Collaborate professionally with the supervising analyst, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team. Complete accurate and timely session documentation and data collection. Maintain client confidentiality and professional standards at all times. Qualifications & Requirements Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB
  • REQUIRED Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Active Florida Medicaid Provider ID/Number
  • REQUIRED
    Bilingual English/Spanish
  • REQUIRED.
    Candidate must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Clear/eligible AHCA Level 2 Background Screening

Ability to follow BCBA instructions and implement treatment plans accurately. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Willingness and ability to work with clients who may exhibit challenging or physically aggressive behaviors. Access to a smartphone and computer. Ability to use technology required for electronic documentation, data collection, scanning, and communication. Previous experience working with children or adolescents is preferred. Important
